The journey to REFLECTIVE STUDIO was a circle - not a straight line. It took 25 years of growth and education to reach this moment. Because continued learning, self-reflection, and personal growth are essential in the constantly evolving beauty industry. Balance and self-worth are necessary to be the best REFLECTION of ourselves. And sharing knowledge requires a selfless and giving spirit. In 2017 I took a break to nurture my body and my boys after 22 years behind the chair. Self-work, self-care, and introspection didn't come easy - I was accustomed to addressing others' needs - not my own. I found balance through REFLECTION. REFLECTIVE STUDIO allows me to serve others and still prioritize balance and self-care while finding joy in the freedom of business ownership. I listen to my clients - to what they want and need - and through hair, I help people REFLECT the best version of themselves. REFLECTION I'd cut and color the hair of my family and friends in high school. My passion for beauty brought me to Denver in 1995 to study cosmetology at Xenon International. The relationship I developed with Redken platform artists through Xenon, led me to work in their Lawrence, Kansas salon, Hair Experts. At Hair Experts, I discovered a passion for education, and I still have a powerful desire to share knowledge. I traveled and learned from the best in the beauty industry for seven years. During this time, I discovered a passion for Men's hair and became an American Crew educator (2000-2003). American Crew brought me back to my home in Denver - and The Parlour. I spent 15 years with The Parlour as a Stylist, Educator, Platform Artist, Educational Director, and Salon Leadership. And I grew through education, experiences, and mentorship. Today, I still share the gift of education with others. I ask that all guest give 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, allowing me the opportunity to fill in that time. Specialty appointments needing 3+ hours required 72 hour notice to cancel or reschedule. Thank you!
